UsedCardboardBoxes, founded in 2006, is the largest processor of USED gaylord totes, produce totes, resin/octo-bins and shipping boxes in North America. We pay more than recycling rates because we don’t recycle! We REUSE, RESELL and RETURN them, as boxes, right here in the US. USED totes are sold to major retailers for reverse logistics, or to large scrap processors (metal, plastic, paper, etc.) to sort/transport commodities. USED shipping boxes are sold to major retailers for distribution from DC to store and many are used to create UCB’s eco-friendly moving kits, sold online. As a closed-loop RETURN program, boxes can be sorted, inspected, palletized, inventoried and RETURNED back to the original vendor, for reuse.

Summary
The Sales Executive – B2B Sourcing is a “hunter” responsible for identifying, converting, and securing recurring, high-volume supplies of used boxes and gaylords to drive profitable growth. This role is strategic — focused on building a resilient sourcing pipeline through outbound outreach, supplier qualification, deal-making, and field-level follow-through. This role is foundational to our ability to fulfill customer demand and scale our revenue. Entry-level candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify new sources of used boxes through outbound calls, emails, referrals, and industry research. Build a consistent pipeline of qualified leads based on demand driven prospecting – finding the boxes and gaylords we need and not hunting for ones we can’t sell.
Sales Collaboration: Partner with the B2B Sales team to align supply with known demand, helping to drive faster deal velocity.
Supply Activation: Ensure new supply is accurately logged, qualified, and operationalized in UCB’s CRM and ERP systems.
Deal Execution: Close sourcing deals that meet profitability and operational criteria. Travel to supplier sites as needed to build relationships and resolve friction.
Supplier Qualification: Assess lead potential based on quality, volume, location, and alignment with UCB’s inventory needs. Disqualify low-fit suppliers quickly to maintain funnel efficiency.
